Lady Gaga’s Mod Clothing

Love her or hate her, you’ve got to admire the creativity of Lady Gaga’s mod clothing. Lady Gaga has said that fashion inspires her songwriting and is a key part of her on stage presence. She says, “When I’m writing music, I’m thinking about the clothes I want to wear on stage. It’s all about everything altogether—performance art, pop performance art, fashion.”

There’s no doubting the fact that Lady Gaga is not just a singer and songwriter, she’s also a fashion icon. She cites Donatella Versace as her muse, and her trendy dresses have featured everything from plastic bubbles to large chunks of red meat to Muppets. Lady Gaga is styled by the Haus of GaGa, her personal crew of fashion and makeup stylists and hair people. With her “no pants” philosophy, she’s commonly seen out and about in little more than a sexy leather leotard, a jacket, and high heels.
